I am Grace and I am looking forward to fun: An interview

I have a wonderful family that is really nice and smart and they got a boat. I am excited to go on the boat because we are going to have fun.

My name is Grace Diane Harris. My favourite colours are blue and green and yellow. My favourite thing to do with my family is to have fun with them. Right now I go to Chris Hadfield PS but soon I will go to school on the boat! I am good at skiing. My favourite sport is skiing and learning how to play basketball by my brother. He has a basketball net in his room. I got it for him for his birthday.

“What do you think is going to be fun Grace?”

I think going to the beaches and sleeping over on beaches and having campfires is going to be fun. I think it will be fun to go sailing and have big waves. We are going to have lots of fun because I am going to learn lots of boat stuff, like how to drive the dingy, how to put up the main sail and how to drive the boat.

“Is there anything else you would like to say about how you are getting ready?”

Yes, yes, yes. I am getting ready because we are sorting out the stuff and we are putting away our toys, cleaning up our rooms. People are coming to look at our house before we go. Do you want to rent it? We are getting ready because my mom and dad got new boat rings for their anniversary. Their real rings might get get wrecked with oil or ink if the engine breaks down or something like that. The new rings can stretch out.
